I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (which I originally featured in this post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where did you buy them?
I ordered mine from Cettire when they had a great deal going on.
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast which was a major plus
What’s the cost?
I picked them up for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.
You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their uniqueness.
Are they true to size?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
Is the goose sneakers comfort worth it?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
How do they perform over time?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Stunning.
Would you buy again?
Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you get a pair you love. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also look great.

I found them to fit true to size, at least for me. They haven’t stretched at all, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
Is the comfort worth it?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in.
How durable are they?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
